Lifeline Program and Enhanced Lifeline

Lifeline is a federal program dedicated to making internet and phone service more affordable for low-income households. This benefit provides eligible consumers with a monthly discount of up to $9.25.

Consumers living on Tribal lands are eligible for an enhanced discount of up to $34.25 per month. Learn more about Tribal Benefits.

• Link Up offers up to $100 off connection charges to qualifying residents of Tribal lands.

FCC Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)

In November 2021, Congress created the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which helps to ensure families can afford the connections they need for work, school, health care and more, for a long time.

If your household is eligible*, you can receive up to a $30/month discount on your internet service, and up to a $75/month discount if your household is on qualifying Tribal lands.

Arvig and its companies are not offering a one-time discount on a laptop, tablet or desktop computer.

Minnesota Telephone Assistance Plan (TAP)

The Minnesota Telephone Assistance Plan (TAP) program is a state-funded monthly $10 discount on landline telephone service for qualified residents. Click here to apply. Mail the completed TAP application and proof of income or program participation to:

Telephone Equipment Distribution Program (TED)

The TED Program provides a variety of adaptive phone devices to people who have difficulty using the phone. People who are deaf, deafblind, hard of hearing or who have a speech or physical disability often find these devices make using the phone easier. Devices are loaned for free to those who qualify, for as long as they need them.

Arvig School Partnership Program

Arvig will donate $1 each month to the local school of your choice, at no additional cost to you, each month you remain a loyal customer. Since the program's creation in 2010, we've awarded more than $1 million to help buy new technology and supplies for classrooms in Minnesota! Read the press release.

Economy Internet Plan

Ask about a special internet plan if you qualify for, or are receiving the ACP and/or Lifeline discount(s). Up to 50Mb/3Mb of internet starting at $30 per month.
